This guide explains how to download and upgrade kwiklook on the designated master server.
- Download the kwiklook Master Upgrade installer executable: kwiklook Master Upgrade
- Double click the executable to run the installer. Administrator access is required to run the installer.
- Press ‘Yes’ to the ‘User Account Control’ prompt if one appears. An Administrator username and password may be required to be entered if the current logged in user is not an Administrator.
- If prompted to install any pre-requisite packages, click ‘Yes’.
- The kwiklook Master Upgrade ‘Welcome’ window will now appear. Click ‘Next’ to continue the upgrade.
- In the ‘Select Destination Folder’ window choose the installation folder that kwiklook is installed in, then click the ‘Next’ button. The default installation folder is: C:\FutureIT\kwiklook
- In the ‘License Agreement’ window choose the ‘I accept the terms in the license agreement’ option, then click the ‘Next’ button.
- In the ‘Select Options’ window tick the ‘Install kwiklook shortcuts on Desktop and Start Menu’ option, then click the ‘Next’ button.
- In the ‘Select Options’ window tick the ‘Install and Start visitor id Web Server’ option, then click the ‘Next’ button.
- This option only needs to be ticked if the ‘visitor id’ module is enabled and licensed.
- In the ‘Ready to upgrade’ window, click the ‘Next’ button to start upgrading kwiklook.
- The upgrade process may take a minimum of 15 minutes. Please wait until the upgrade process has completed.
- Once the upgrade process is complete, tick both the ‘Run visitor id Web Server’ and ‘Run kwiklook’ options, then click the ‘Finish’ button to complete the upgrade and start kwiklook.
