Before Staff and Service Providers can complete Online Courses and Inductions, the Online Courses must first be linked to a Course Register record and have Attendees assigned to the Course Register.
To link an Online Course to the Course Register:
- Open kwiklook and login.
- Click the ‘WHS Compliance’ module on the main menu.
- Click the ‘Course Register’ menu item.
- Click the ‘New’ button.
- On the ‘New Course Detail’ window, fill out the below details:
- Course Format – Choose ‘kwiklook Online Course’.
- Click the ‘Select Online Course’ button.
- Choose the ‘Online Course’ that is to be linked to this Course Register and click ‘Select’.
- Course Name – This is entered automatically when choosing the ‘Online Course’ in step 5.3 above.
- Course Description – This is entered automatically when choosing the ‘Online Course’ in step 5.3 above.
- Standard – A ‘Standard’, such as a building code or your country, can be selected and linked to this Course Register.
- Provider Name – Leave this blank.
- This Course is linked to Credential – Select an existing Credential that this Course Register can be linked to. When an end user completes the Online Course, the linked Credential will also be updated automatically. TIP: Use this feature for Online Inductions.
- Course Duration – Leave blank.
- Document Name – A document or PDF that can be linked to this Course Register.
- Click ‘Apply’. The ‘Course Detail’ window will re-open so that Attendees can be assigned to this Course Register.
To link Attendees to a Course Register:
- In the ‘Course Detail’ window, click the ‘Sessions’ tab.
- Click the ‘Edit’ button.
- In the ‘Session Detail’ window, click the ‘Attendees’ tab.
- To include a single Attendee:
- Click the ‘New’ button.
- Select the Staff or Service Provider that is to attend the Online Course and click the ‘Select’ button.
- Click ‘Save’.
- To remove a single Attendee:
- Click the Attendee in the list that is to be removed once.
- Click the ‘Delete’ button.
- To include multiple Attendees at once:
- Click the ‘Bulk Include Attendees’ button.
- Use the filter in the ‘Bulk Include Attendees’ window to include all the Attendees into the Online Course.
- Click the ‘Ok’ button.
- To remove multiple Attendees at once:
- Click the multiple Attendees in the list and click the ‘Bulk Remove Attendees’ button. Holding the ‘Ctrl’ or ‘Ctrl+Shift’ buttons on the keyboard allows for selecting mulitple records in the list.
- Click ‘Save’.
